We Move Mountains is an innovative outdoor education program that brings together school groups and diverse communities—including individuals with disabilities, veterans, at-risk youth and inner city schools—for a shared outdoor adventure. In partnership with non-profits across LA, we unite participants from different backgrounds to work toward a common goal, creating a powerful setting for experiential learning.

Why This Program Works

Outdoor adventures offer a unique, leveling experience, challenging participants regardless of physical ability, social status, or cultural background. These activities push individuals to embrace uncertainty, experience vulnerability, build resilience, and learn from failure. By fostering cultural diversity and inclusivity in a real life scenario, we create opportunities for participants to grow in trust, teamwork, and compassion.

Our expert guides and instructors collaborate with teachers to use the experiential learning model, helping participants reflect on their experiences after the sessions, and apply those lessons to everyday life. And these programs can be brought to any location with our mobile climbing wall.
